Fetticcine Alfredo

This is the ultimate comfort food! It is the perfect combination of perfect ingredients...pasta, butter, cream, and cheese. Yum!


8 oz uncooked fettuccine
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup whipping cream
3/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
Pepper
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Cook fettuccine according to package directions. Drain well.

In a saucepan, heat butter and cream over low heat, stirring constantly until butter is melted. Stir in cheese, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir constantly until smooth. Pour sauce over drained fettuccine. Stir until well coated. Garnish with parsley.
